Tulio Raggi González received his degree in Art History from the Miramar Conservatory for Animation of the Academia Garcés. He also had specializations in music theory, piano, and law. He was widely acclaimed for his work in animation and directed more than 60 works in his lifetime. He worked with the ICAIC and was a revolutionary filmmaker in both senses. His work on animated films depicting revolutionary Cuba have won awards in Cuba and internationally.

Tulio Raggi González ganó su tí­tulo del Conservatorio Miramar de Animación de la Academia Garcés donde estudió historia del arte. También tenía especializaciones en teorí­a musical, piano y derecho civil. Ha ganado reconocimiento por sus obras animados y ha dirigido más que 60 obras durante su vida. Trabajo con el ICAIC y era cineasta revolucionario en ambos sentidos. Sus obras, que tratan de la revolución cubana, han ganado premios en Cuba y en el extranjero.
